Books + Cooking = exciting life.

What am I having for food/snack right now:

Homemade Spicy raw Dip:
2 avocadoes
1 shallot
7 clovers garlic (love that shit)
little bits of poblano pepper
olive oil, S/P, celery seeds, sumak, thyme, galangal, cumin, splash of white balsamic, lemon juice
All chopped mixed together and let sit for few hours in the fridge.
Consuming on crackers or with a spoon. Raw and exciting!

2nd course:
Homemade spicy kraut-chi (which was fermented for 4 days)
cabbage
onion
ginger
garlic
apple
jalapeno
tiny bit of habanero chile (made everything crazy spicy)
mustard seeds, salt, peppercorns,
All chopped up, smashed, stuffed in jar and covered with brine.
Excellent spice kick.

Homemade Desert beverage:
2 week fermented fresh apple cider from apples, pears, peaches. Probably 3-5% alch. Tasty, fruity and fresh.
So much live bacteria!!!
